A manufacturing partner for your aluminum profile

CSMFG supports custom aluminum extrusion projects in China, from a specified cross-section through machining and surface finishing. Use this page to evaluate production capabilities and factory evidence. If you already have a section and want to compare quantities, start with our custom aluminum extrusion calculator and online quote.

Custom aluminum profiles are defined by more than their outside dimensions. Send the complete section, internal cavities, critical wall thicknesses, alloy and temper, tolerances, cut lengths and finish requirements. We review those requirements for your project before confirming the production scope.

Extrusion, machining and finishing requirements

Our published capabilities include standard tubing, building profiles and heat sink sections, alongside custom profile manufacturing. The material and size information above describes the wider production offering. Availability and feasibility depend on the section and order; the online calculator has its own configuration and length limits.

For aluminum extrusion machining, show the operations that happen after the continuous section is formed: cut lengths, angled ends, holes, tapped features and other drawing requirements. Identify the datum surfaces and dimensions that control assembly fit. Include anodizing, powder coating or other surface requirements in the same inquiry so the finished part can be reviewed as a complete specification.

What to evaluate when choosing an extrusion manufacturer

  • Section feasibility: provide the full drawing, including cavities and fine features, for tooling and manufacturing review.
  • Material and finish: state the alloy, temper, color and relevant finish specification.
  • Quality requirements: identify critical dimensions, inspection documents and any application-specific acceptance criteria. See our quality approach.
  • Production scope: separate prototype quantity, regular batch size and estimated annual demand.
  • Delivery: include the finished lengths, packaging needs, destination and required schedule.

Factory evidence and production examples

Review the production videos and factory photographs on this page alongside your drawing requirements. For details about the company and project handling, visit About CSMFG and our IP protection information. Send specific process or inspection questions with your inquiry so we can address the evidence needed for your project.

Price a section or discuss a production program

The online tool calculates section area, alloy weight, extrusion die (mold) cost and piece pricing from CAD or a cross-section picture. It is useful for comparing a specific configuration. For supplier selection, special materials, complex machining or a continuing production program, send the drawing and requirements for review.

For purchase planning, read the extrusion die and tooling cost guide or the small-batch and prototype extrusion guide. Production requires agreement on the specifications and drawing sign-off.
