Open Profiles
U channels, H channels, T channels, J channels, tracks, rails and custom open sections.
Steel, stainless steel and aluminum profile projects - from roll forming and punching to welding, coating, assembly and export.
CSMFG manufactures custom roll formed products for OEM buyers who need reliable production in China, clear engineering communication and practical cost control.
We produce open profiles, welded tubes, U channels, panel profiles and special-shaped sections. Our continuous roll forming lines can combine forming, hole punching, online welding and cut-to-length production in one process. If you are looking for cold drawing/ extrusion of steel, click here instead.
We make custom metal profiles based on your drawing, sample or application requirement. Common roll forming products include:
U channels, H channels, T channels, J channels, tracks, rails and custom open sections.
Round tubes, square tubes, rectangular tubes and special welded profile shapes.
Custom panel profiles for equipment, enclosures, frames, covers and industrial products.
Non-standard profiles with custom geometry, hole patterns, welded features or secondary forming. For cold drawing/ extrusion of steel, click here.
Hole punching, welding, pipe bending, surface coating, galvanizing, powder coating and assembly.
OEM profile projects can be supplied as individual parts, welded assemblies or packed export-ready components.
Roll forming is ideal when your product needs a long, consistent cross-section with repeatable dimensions. A flat strip or coil is gradually bent through a series of roll stations, then cut to the required length.
For suitable projects, CSMFG can integrate multiple steps into one production flow:
This matters because continuous roll forming can reduce secondary operations, improve repeatability and lower unit cost once the profile is validated.
Need lighter parts or better corrosion resistance? CSMFG supports aluminum profile projects through roll forming, extrusion, welding, machining and surface finishing.
Aluminum is attractive for frames, covers, channels, trims, equipment panels and lightweight assemblies because it can weigh about one third of an equivalent steel part and naturally forms a protective oxide layer that helps resist corrosion.
Aluminum behaves differently from steel. High-strength aluminum can have more springback and lower formability, so good tooling design and process planning are critical before production.
For projects where extrusion is a better route than roll forming, CSMFG can also support aluminum extrusion profiles. Our aluminum extrusion capability lists material options including 6063, 6060, 6005, 6061, 6082, 2024, 3003, 5052, 7003 and 7075, with finishes such as anodizing and Teflon coating.
Not sure whether to use aluminum roll forming or extrusion? Send us the profile drawing. We will suggest the practical manufacturing route.
We help buyers choose the practical material and surface finish based on strength, corrosion resistance, appearance and cost.
Q235 and other carbon steel grades for structural and general industrial profiles.
SS304 and SS316 for corrosion-resistant profile applications.
Aluminum profile projects can be evaluated for roll forming or extrusion depending on alloy, geometry, tolerance and production volume.
Choosing a roll forming supplier in China is not just about the lowest unit price. The real risk is miscommunication, unstable quality, tooling mistakes, late delivery and parts that do not fit during assembly.
CSMFG is built for custom manufacturing projects that need engineering discussion, supplier coordination and export execution.
Our English-speaking project managers and engineers help review drawings, tolerances, materials and production risks before quoting.
Roll forming can be combined with welding, tube bending, machining, coating, assembly and packing under one coordinated supply chain.
We use SOPs, material checks, dimensional inspection, coating checks, salt spray testing, weld testing and third-party labs where required.
We combine factory-direct pricing with engineering review, QC documentation and export support.
We can support early engineering samples, pilot runs and repeated production after the roll forming process is stable.

If you are still deciding between steel, stainless steel or aluminum, send us the application requirement. We can help compare cost, manufacturability and tooling approach.
Cold roll forming is a metal forming process where strip or coil material is gradually bent at room temperature through multiple roll stations to create a long, consistent profile. It is suitable for custom channels, tubes, rails, panels and structural sections.
Continuous roll forming means the strip is continuously fed through the roll forming line, shaped by multiple roll stations and then cut to length. Punching, notching, welding and other operations can often be integrated into the line.
Yes, we can evaluate aluminum profile projects for roll forming. Aluminum is useful when weight reduction, corrosion resistance or appearance matters. Because aluminum can have greater springback than mild steel, we review alloy, temper, geometry and tolerance before quoting.
Extrusion is often better for thick, complex or enclosed aluminum profiles. Roll forming is usually better for thinner sheet or coil-based profiles with a consistent cross-section and production volume. Send us the drawing and we will suggest the more practical route.
We supply custom roll formed products such as U channels, steel tubes, rectangular tubes, panel profiles, welded profiles and special-shaped metal sections.
